New Inklings Press was founded February 2, 2012 by Molly Jo Realy. Molly Jo sought a venue to publish her variety of writings and still retain all rights to her stories. After speaking with several authors who went the self-publishing route, Molly Jo decided to do the same.
New Inklings Press takes its name from The New Inklings, a writers’ group formed by Molly Jo as she and others worked toward similar goals. The Inklings was the name of a writers’ group in England in the 1950s, whose members included C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Molly Jo could think of nothing better than to pay homage to these two fine writers by naming her group, and company, New Inklings.
New Inklings strives to provide readers with quality publications. Soon our catalog will include devotional booklets, short story anthologies, and fantasy-based novels.
While New Inklings Press is involved in writers’ groups and activities that include other authors, Who We Are is limited strictly to authors who are already published through our company.
